Title: Another completed round on the main server
Apr 5, 2011 - 10:05 am
Posted By: Big

The last round lasted for 3 months, and I finished in top 20. I must say that the last two months of the round was all about the hunt for universal created planets with special commudities on and defending those who were worth keeping.
So in the round which started few days ago I plan not to join (read: you never know). The time I got for this is assigned for code-debugging AAT and hopefully find and solve the few bugs there is currently.

to be continued...

Hi all,
A merry christmas to ya all.

The last couple of days I have been playing the main game. Just a effort to test the new stuff. I have been away for some time (many, many months, to some not long enough ), but like many addicted players I have returned. Currently not in a position to mess up the rank, but I love to test the new stuff since they seems to work pretty good... Good Job PJ and TH.

Greeting from

Big aka Alex

  Title: Holiday sneak-in
Aug 15, 2010 - 6:15 pm

It is just after midnight (local time) and the rain is poring down outside. Bad timing of my summer vacation.
Just took a look at the main. There is still some of the big guns in the game. I hope I get some time to shake things up a bit. A bit difficult to get the nedded time with a kid aged 4 all the time (it feels like all the time) asking "Dad, what are you doing?" or "Dad, help me with this game".
He has become one of the fastest "Hidden objects"-player I know. He is playing those game serval hours per day. I actually caugt him in playing the same game on two laptops at the same time. One mouse in the left hand and one in the right.
That made me ask myself "Am I at the computer too much", since children are copycats...

Soon it might be time for a AAT-introduction to him

Over and sneak-out.

C ya around in the galaxies

I have been away from AAT for some time now, BUT after testing other turnbased games with nice layouts and millions of players I always returns to AAT where I started playing web-games.

So this rusty old AAT-maddog will appear in AAT-games in this year. Hopefully I can spend the same amount of time like I used to.

So to All AAT-dogs... C ya out there in the galaxy.

Remeber that ya can get rusty man out of the maddog, but ya can't get the maddog out of the rusty man.

In other words my trigger-finger might be rusty right now, but it will not be long b4 I should be hold in a long arms distance or else...

Happy hunting AAT-year to all

Apr 16, 2009 - 3:09 pm

my time on the main server with the new features.

The new feature is the new comm., which can be traded.
Slaves, entertainment software,..., shiphulls. in other words many new trading product. Good thinking, PJ. this might expand the trading phase in the game.

The basic idea with adding new comm. should be that players should be temped to trade those. Each comm. should have a "good side" and a "bad side". f.ex. high benefit but hard to find.

The new comm. is a bunch of low benefits. The only one worth trading was the shiphull, which demanded a hull with 1.8M holds per shiphull-unit. There is no ship-hull ports and the only planets who produced these shiphulls was auto-created. In other words you couldn't create a planets producing shiphulls. So you should be extremly lucky to find a planet created by the system. But when you do there is plenty of ports where you can sell the shiphulls. then if you got a hull on your ship which can carry those shiphulls you can make many trillions faster than the best boosting planets can.

is the title of a Frankie Goes to Hollywood song.

a frase of this song comes to my mind when thinking of the new comm.

especially the lines:

"...What is it good for?"
"Absolutely nothing!"

The only one which seems be be worth trading there is no port selling that. So you have to make a planet which produce it. The chance for getting a planet like that is close to zero. So you have to be lucky finding a planet created by the game.

  Title: Rank
Mar 30, 2009 - 2:25 am
Posted By: Big

I have always wondered about the Rank in the ranking. What is the point if the rank only is a range of points. I believe that the rank should reflect the actions the player has done so far, meaning a formula containing more parameters than just the score in points. The formula should contain beside the score kills, deaths(whacked ships), lost ship (Captured by ohers) planets captured, planets lost, planets build, planets destroyed and the amount of turns used. I wanted in that formula to substract the amount credits transfered(from other player) from the score basic (networth).

Each parameter should have a procentage weight in the formula, so for an example could be:
the calculated scores contribution for the rank formula be 20%,
kills 10%,
whacked ships(deaths) 10%,
lost ships 10%,
captured planets 10%,
lost planets 10%
build planets 10%
destroyed planets 5%
turns used 15%

How to calculate parameters number to a formula "unit" I am not sure of, but I guess PJ or TH pretty fast can come up with a suggestion, since most of it is like a combination of experience and eff.rate.

  Title: WHY Indies??
Feb 17, 2009 - 6:30 am
Posted By: Big

I am wondering why the initial indy-planets still are a part of the game.
If you defeat them early in the game they will blow up and if you wait untill you are way into the game they aren't worth capturing.

So with the current rules about planets blow up there isn't a point for having them, right?

As some have noticed I left the main before the end (Again some might say)
This time the reason wasn't boredom, but way worse "The end of me and my (ex) girlfriend's relationsship"
I can't play AAT when I am emotionally unbalanced.

Thanks to all, which made this round fun for me.

Time for me to take a new break from AAT.
The last day showed it was time. B4 I left I would make a final salute kicking a top player's ship
Untill next time take care.

NB! Take a look at Lucky Star's blog. The picture of me is a bit old. The mustache has been trimmed since then.

NNB! I will return soon

  Title: Point of view
Oct 18, 2008 - 8:47 pm
Posted By: Big

My game point of view:
A game is fun as long as there is a challenge in the game. If the challenge dissapear, I couldn't care of what happens next in that game. Then things happens when they happens. then I take it from there.
Some players think they know it all and are blindfolded to see otherwise.
In the currebt main game, the challenge in the beginnig of the main game was Kuy, who is a excellent player. I had the luck to find him and slow him down. Then challenges was gone since many of the other excellent players hadn't shown their face in the game yet. So I had the choice between selfdestruct (=Start over) or kick some of the other players arround (= play with their minds, predict their next moves and then trap them. I choosed to do the last thing. Now that that is done (poor Val got a minor setback)
Sad to see player's reaction on losing a ship. If it happens fairly... get over it, you can't change it.
It is a GAME, and shouldn't be threating your RL. If it does that stop playing and seek for help.

  Title: I never learn

It seems like I never learn... I don't like to be bored in a AAT game. So at my current position in the rank it seems like I have done it again singing the Pet Shop Boys tune "Being Boring"

Formula: [Bored in AAT] = been careless in a AAT-game = Auto-pilot playing = chance of mistakes

And I don't making mistakes no matter my progress in the game.

  Title: Server Review.

Review of the .cz AAT server.

+: Cool avartars for the stars in the sectors, ports and ship. Hopefully there is a licens to use those avatars. A interesting ranking.

-: A lot of things/features are missing. You have to select language each time you login unless you read the local .cz language. The coords on the sectors are missing, you can send spy to a enemy planet and many many other things.

All in all a mixed experience, some good ideas but there is still a lot missing. Reminds me of the main years back.

It was fun to try, but I wait some time to play on that server again and hopefully the missing stuff is fixed by then.

I talked about it earlier and here again:

With the current planet-setting the digs have to much influence on the game. Not sure I have solution but I have some ideas.

1) make the "work-factor"-range for the digs smaller, since the work-factor in the power of many gives a huge impact on a AAT-game. A huge impact based on a random factor isn't good.

2) Another thing could be to reduce the amount of colos per planet. Maybe there should be different kind of genesis-torps. F.ex. type A cost 500K credits and initial can hold 100M colos+x per tech level. Type B costs 500M and initially can hold 250M + y per tech level...etc.

The Main have shown it again.

"You can learn ethic players "stupidity", but you can't learn "stupid" players ethics"

A "Stupid" player is a player which acts against the ethics of the game, and if a loophole of stupidity is closed by the dev-team they use another.

  Title: French server
May 20, 2008 - 10:08 am

When a admins cheats get beaten by the admins foolishness.

I Joined the french AAT server. It had almost default settings, beside the galaxy size (25K+ sectors)
Everything seemed normal. Fortunately I note many different things in a AAT game. and suddenly the trade-prices got increase "faster than normal" just to get reduced to 25% later... it seemed a bit strange. then a players way of playing style seems odd. Even many player has a strange (or none) strategy in the game. this player was a bit outside that, but his/hers score grow and consolidated the top spot. I was a bit p issed over the admins intervention and almost selfdestructed. But then I by accident checked my log and saw I had lost a spy on his/her ship (Read: This player had picked up some spy-containing debrise) and my spylog was full of records.
I decided than he should get a lesson. By checking the sectors from the log I found his lair.

I found a huge planet in his lair (strangely huge with a default indy-name)
didn't knew there was planets as admin-fee. :s

so I invested all my funds and a loan and whacked this player big time...

A hour later the server was unavailable....

ROFL...

I guess he/she learned that exploit doesn't always pay.

Edit:

Part II:
The server came online again yesteday. When I tried to log in I got the message "You are Banned..."

ROFL... The admin must have taking it personally after I punished him for cheating.

Gladly I know many good french men, so I know this admin isn't representative for the french behavior.

Part III:
I created another player to login with and tell the top player the situation.
I did that. and returned later that day to see the replies.
I logged in and saw in the news that my new player "M4Merde" was killed in a accident. That must has been a miracle since M4Merde hadn't used a turn, so being killed in SOL must be a miracle, or just a admin still being grumpy over that beat... Poor soul... It is ONLY a game.

  Title: Killing me softly...
May 1, 2008 - 12:27 pm
Posted By: Big

...with his changes...

I know there isn't any decided solution to add, but the suggested ones is for sure killing my playing-presents in AAT (maybe that would be a good thing?)

The last suggestion I just read (part 3) requires a 10-20 times non-ship values to make a certain upgrade on your endv or higher shipclass.

Case 1: some player put a third in the defense of the first sector of their lair. That will require that a attacker which wants to match this defense to have at least 3 times more networth totally. That makes the target-player way out of bounty range.

A change like this will make all player equal in style ( max 10% attackers and at least 90% builders) that way team-roles are reduced to one.

Case 2: If the target player is with bounty-range (higher teammember or otherwise) the the attacker must not get any damage to his ship, repair cost = less networth les max levels on the ships = no complete repair (for the time it takes to earn the funds to repair )

A change like this will in worst case make no need for voyagers and excelsiors.

So all in all I read the suggestion as ....

-"This is a fed-announcement: All players need to be 90%+ building. Advice build behind your topplayer in the team. put 20-30% in the defense and cruise around in your building empire with a happy face"

According to some.
I have played a aat-game. I experienced a thing I never thought I should. I got called a cheater by a player I have huge respect for.
To me smart thinking and use the info the game gives you isn't cheating.
So if letting other have a swing or two at me to prove them wrong I don't mind. Even that it remove the nerve of the game. Playing the game with good oponent is fun, but playing against cheaters can't be fun. huh, Alvin?

Mar 23, 2008 - 4:40 pm

I has just joined the main game and haven't played the game for real for a year or so. The things I was missing seems still to be missing. BUT as I can see from the blogs our AAT-"bit twisters" is lacking time. So maybe I should take another break. Basically the game is working fine, but the rating-thing should be adjusted, the balance between attacker and the defender role is better but still need a minor adjustment.

That could make the game even better.

Been away from AAT for a long time.... Just dropped by early this morning and saw the AAT-godess Langel has "returned home"... Just loved the sharpness of her pen...

Hopes all is doing well buddy Alf, Thunder got past his "Ice-age" conditions outside his house.

Damn I got purged from the main ce la vive.

News here at the center of evil (aka my home) is that I decided few months ago to get out of my comfort-zone (job-wise) and got a new job, less workhours, bigger salary, good leading staff... in other words it turned out to bea good decision I made, even the unknown is alway a bit tricky...

Junior aka Emil has become a gadget-freak already... probably more than me.... if that is possible. Everytime he sees a computer or a cellphone he wants to show the world how those are handled.

Gadget-wise: my latest gadget is a Garmin Forerunner watch, built-in GPS, altitude-, heartrate measuring. That should hopefully be the carrot to get me in better sharpe and maybe loose 10 pounds of my current 170.

Newbie-nice:
Currently the "newbie nice" rule is protecting a player untill this have use x turns (usually 1000 turns). That has to be combined with another criteria, like the 1000 turns should be used within a week from the time the player joined the game. That way the "Newbie nice" can't be "exploited" as first sector in a lair or simular tricks.

More than 1 player with the same IP-adress:
On creation and login there should be a validation of the IP if the player is having a IP like another player in the game andthe player have got the OK-flag rom the admins the player can only enter the lobby and not the galaxy.

Compensation to victoms:
When much a bigger player whack smaller players ship and get a bounty for tht, the target/victom should get a compensation for the ship, equal to the ships value if it was traded. A simular sized amount of credits should be added to the bigger players bounty.

  Title: ATL: AAT Tournement League
Sep 22, 2007 - 3:24 am
Posted By: Big

RfC#2: A Tourney League containing 12 tourneys each year.
1 tourney each month. Each tourney lasting for a week.
after each tourney top x players/teams in the rank will get some points.
The points system reflecs  the amount of "top guns" which has signed up for  the tourney. That if the Group of "top guns" is set to f.ex. top 20, that could make the pointssystem something like this:

when 6 or less "top guns"
1st  180 p
2nd 150 p
3rd 130 p
etc.

when 7 to 13 "top guns"
1st  280 p
2nd 240 p
3rd 215 p
etc.

when 14 or more "top guns"
1st  380 p
2nd 330 p
3rd 300 p
etc.

After each tourney the Overall ATL rank are added the points given in the last tourney, and a new list of "Topguns" are made. That will initially in a season requires that the admins make a "Top guns" from their observations or last seasons result.

Since I have made some comments about the tourneys in their cuurent form, I better come up with some suggestions to change/improvements to this.

Personally I like tourneys in their unlimited form, but they haven't got any meaning in the Big picture.

How to make that happend. I am working on a suggestion based on a old suggestion of mine "The league thing".

It will be published here soon (within few days)

NB!!! WOW, that was fast PJ/TH, the game-lobby on the main server. Under 24h after it was suggested. WR!!!! Way to go. I better come up with some more.

It is pretty sad to see how many...or how few who actually joined the 3P tourney. Is it due to the time vs the reset of the main or?

For once I aren't quiet please with the progress of the game. I felt like I got robbed. AK wasn't on my team . Usually player get a day after start to complete the accept of their invite. But it has change.

so the maddog might add a number to one of his trademarks.

I must say I don't see the purpose of timelimitation in a tourney.

  Title: End of the Main-game
Sep 8, 2007 - 10:33 am
Posted By: Big

At the beginning of this day the Main-game ended and as the ranking shows a victory to team "The Hive" (Moonraker and Phirephly). I joined the main a little over 3 weeks ago. Shortly after I joined I got aware that the game was soaped in with NAPs ...

With the knowledge of the NAPs looking at top 20 you will see that only a few players wasn't involved in one or more NAPS. Isn't that boring or is it turning the game into matter of who could use those NAPs in a tactical way.

Moon and Phire you mastered this tactical in the final phase. It seems like in a period that the youngsters Team Catch or Team Chaos would end up victorious.
In poker-terms team Catch had a pair of Queens preflop (Texas hold'em) Some "new cards" showed up  Q 5 9. Team Catch (3Qs) just checked in a effort to fish/trap other players. turn showed 5. Team Ctach had now full house and was looking strong. They still played their passive style. The river show a 10 of dimond. Team Catch did nothing . they were cinvinced they would pull this off without any effort. Sad since The Hive had pocket pair of 5s which at showndown gave them four of a kind.

In regular terms it was a tactical victory by the Hive, The Catch team got Razzor ( Q in the flop) and thought that would give them the victory, but Razzor was in a battle against me (smock, 5 in the turn) so my focus now turned against the entire team and soon the lead was switch to 20M point gap up to the Hive. this could have been even worse, but a mistiming ( on purpose or not) meeting between my and a donor, keept me away any more action even there plenty of targets.

Have I learned any thing of this... Not really, since I knew that if I should do was I got "hired" to do I had to rely on a sponsor, and when depending on others it sets up some limitations.

Metaphorical the last days was like "Some held a biscuit/piece of meat in front of a maddog and keept on going backwards in safe distance"

Clever, clever, some did learn of the bitemarks some got over the years

Yeah AAT can be a cruel game. You work your behind off in making a progress for days...weeks..months maybe even for years like in the main-game, and the it all crumbles to dust within few minutes. Have been in the main game for two and a half weeks now. Mostly just jumping around scouting for stuff to blast.
Even my mind was dusty after serval months away from AAT. So my major opponents was my own mistakes and that bloody IGB... You are locked in many ways when your loan is overdue and you can't pay it off.
Lucky for me many players have left planets with some credits on them so with those and a helping hand from some of the other players, especially one. I think of this player in this round as "The master of the puppets".

DAV
(Danish for hey)

Since It is sunday and the first day in a long time I decided not to match TH's level of working I had a break in cleaning up the office at home (Dropping a lot of books in the garbage-can) Some of the are really old
"Assembly Language Primer for IBM PC & XT"...
lol... and the list get "funnier"
"Programming MS Access for windows 95"... wow powerfull stuff...lol
"Wordperfect 5.0" Avanced WP 5.1"
"Paradox 3.0"

etc.

Over 50 kilo of old knowledge...

then there is the "forgotten" knowledge....

Avanced engineering mathematics (Athour from US => close to a billion pages) ... Funny have you can forget the context of a book.... From all the marks there is in it It seems like I did fully understand the context of the book... BUT now the most of it is "Forgotten knowledge"
It seems impressive/stupid using many years of a education I forgot most of the stuff. But the on the other side it must have made a good platform for the present. The big Q is could I have gotten to the same point as the current by not spending all those years on education.
The answer may be a big NO, since I believe that even you can use most of the learned stuff directly, a education refines your mindset (way of thinking)

Could I have become a different AAT-player like KK, Max, TH  (All different in style from mine in my point of view) without that changed mindset???? NO WAY!!! I was born  fast and evil... now having the state "AAT-Retired" :s

He did write a fairytale which got to my mind when the "Sharing ship"-action ocurred on the tourney server.

It is called "The emperor's new suit".

...meaning the sharing ships "feature" in it current form is M.A.-playing in another wrapping.

In this round and like in others where I discovery faul play I mentally quit the game. if players can play by the book (my definition of the book= fair without exploit) there is no point for me being in the game, regardless of others saying about that.

There is a saying going something like this:
-"When the mountain will not come to Muhammed, Muhammed must come to the mountain".

In case of my continuing playing in the tourney it is refreased to
-"When the mountain will not come to Muhammed, and Muhammed will not come to the mountain, no solution is possible"

therefore I will follw a line of a Alf's reply in the fora about the issue..

-"So people get on with the tournament as it is or lose it, your choice."

Muhammed can't come to the mountain so it leave only one option.

In other words

"A BIG thanx to all for SHARING this game with me, it has fun with lots of good memeries the past 5 years"

Title: Tourney day2: The day of Whatever

Getting asked a Question from a college when I was watching the news on the tourney-server.

C:-"What is it the game you are playing about?"

Me:-"It is a strategic wargame"

C:-"So Nexus and deadeye are in war"

Me:-"Nope, they are on the same team"

C:-"Same team and attacking each other.....odd"

Me:-"Yup, that is how the game is"

C:-"CM, get a life"

Then I slap him with a dead fish (In my mind anyway, he is 6f 4" and 200+ lbs and I only 6f 2" and 160 lbs and are a "chicken")...

Add: While I was writing this I was whacked in the tourney. Good job, team Legion.

We haven't played a day yet and now a team shows their true colour...
IGB-snowballing...

To me that is a disrespect for the game and simular to a exploit...

Not worth using the playing-time against....

Typical fools like NF...

this action can't have been given by PP.

Come on, Max. You know better than that. Just because your team got a little behind, you shouldn't have to use "exploits" like that... don't get down to NF's level.

Playing a team tourney with a timelimitation can be for some almost impossible.

You have to coordinate the teams actions and information in the forum etc. besides that you gotta trade, nurse planets.

in other words the time-limitation ruins my game, so I gotta take my playing up to some considerations.

Finally a tourney got started with the .3x code.

This new has many "old dogs" and some new raising stars in it, so the outcome of this can be difficult to predict. Many of the teams has planned to snowball, but it seems like the success with this is like in the previous rounds... minor.

If it is due to they is the team which got the best run of snowball or the amount of players which have been in action is hard to say, but the Blitzkriegers has taken the lead.
(Manchine)gunshy aka Max G has started the slaughting ball, by taken out one ship in action and possible others by setting up serval traps.

Personal experience so far:
-Damn huge galaxy 6K sectors. (With a timelimitation and my "webspeed"...hmmm)
- Lazy digs, they seems scared of working.

  Title: Tourney: Starting time.

Many have mentioned the time for the start of the tourney as an issue, and I do get their concern.
The tourney start late wensday-early thursday depending on in which timezone you are. Is it good to start a short time-limited game like the tourney in the middle of a week and with a duration of two week the game also ends in the middle of a week.

I would have prefered a start and end in a week-end so things like work get in the way in the crusual time as the start in a tourney.

I hope that my teammates are from US since then the start will be round 10pm their time and not like in the middle of the night.

Ouch, those teams look scary....

Just to mention some of the players...:

AB, KZ,Sat and TH on one of the other teams and PP,Moon, Max,DS (they are handicapped by the NF-fool ) on another team.

My Qs to myself:

some returned vets...are they rusty or shall we look over our shoulders?

Who wins the dig-lottary? hopefully me , but still it is a lottary

Am I still getting a fast start or has all the limitations cut me down?

Difficult to predict some odds on the result, but my first look says

AB's team is looking strongest, but we gotta do all to show that it isn't always those who is strongest "on the paper" which lift the thophy.

is it a Audi?....

nah it stands for Timelimit twisting.

As many of you know I have always been against timelimit in AAT.

but I found out yesteday you can twist that timelimit in both directions.
In other words you can get the remaining time to be more or less than it actually should be.

Worst one is how to "lose" online time. If you is logged into a game and don't log out and don't close the browser-session. After n time you try to continue the game in the session, you can reduce the remaining time with the time between the the last two actions.

Gaining extra online time is a bit more tricky. Will return to that later.

After have playing on Alf's server with some issues, it proved the importance of a log. I knew the log was important, but playing in a game without one really sux. I dare to say the game isn't much without it.

It needs a little tweak and I have discussed some other new feature with TH, which I will look into the next couple of days in my vacation.

Request for Change #1: Team map

As we got team planet report, team defense report, I wish for a team map, where the combined discovery for the team are.

Easy to make . Just copy the galaxy_map.php and replace the SELECT-statement in line 58

SELECT distinct source, zone_id, warp_links FROM {$db_prefix}sector_log WHERE player_id = $playerinfo[player_id] order by source ASC, time DESC

with the following SELECT-statement

SELECT DISTINCT source, zone_id, warp_links
FROM {$db_prefix}sector_log
WHERE player_ID
IN (

SELECT Player_ID
FROM {$db_prefix}players
WHERE team
IN (

SELECT team
FROM {$db_prefix}players
WHERE player_ID = $playerinfo[player_id]
)
)
ORDER BY source ASC , time DESC

and to keep the filenaming standard the file should be called team_galaxy_map.php

  Title: Too Powerfull??
Apr 6, 2007 - 3:42 am
Posted By: Big

I said it b4 and I'm still saying it... the digs are to powerfull...
I joined Alf's "warm-up" game. I build a planet dropped about 6 mn colos and some digs. Now less that day later the digs has made it a planet with over 100mn colos on.... Is the digs destroying the game... Don't think so but they gotta be down-graded a bit, since there is now no point in trading, my colos is making more that within few hours that I could trade me to with the 3K turns I currently got left.
Current strategy: build, nurse, defend sectors and  buy new ships.

Add: Normally when I evalutes a games setting there is a point I called the "break-even" point for trading. This point is when there is no benefit in trading vs. credits-boosting on planets. I know Alf has put the cron on steriods (turbo speed) but still then U gotta adjust the power of the digs, or else the "Break-even" point is appearing to soon.

  Title: Mission completed!
Apr 1, 2007 - 5:05 am

As earlier written I was invited by a known buddy to join a game whack a player (at that time the top-spot player). He had at my entry-point about 27mn points. Unfortunatelly for he didn't knew what was about to hit him , when the best team-captain I ever have had invited me to be a bully (btw. my captain was also the first captain I ever had, back in the old Moonwhackers team).
Back to the current game it is a version .2x and the admin had apparently set it up as a no bounty game. As many of you knows when I am in a no bounty game... hell freezes over or as my captain often says "Thunder is commin'"
Now our target is limping in a pio (with a sectormissile it would have been easier, and not taken whole two weeks, maybe half), lost about 450-500 of his planets.

This .2x gave me a ride down of memory-lane once again. Sectornumbers (=seq-search possible),

shipyard in upgrade-sectors,

Shipstorage in "sector 1" (= once a ship is stored it can't be captured or blasted),

Novabombs, bought in all device-ports and can be used for sector-bombing.

No bypassing of subs.

Bigger importance of the trade-phase....

and a lot of ither differences from the .3x version.

No doubt I prefer the new version .3x...soon to be version 1.00

Add:
The target-player got online and bought a voy it must have been on short time rental-basis since he is no more the pilot of that and he has now dropped to under 11mn points

Damn I have forgot what a huge difference there is between .2x to .3x.
Right now I have joined a .2x game to help a buddy with whacking a player. I have caught myself many times in saying "Oh no, you can do that in this version!"... In a way it is nice to see the difference so I can appriciate the stuff in .3x, even that I still think the trade-part is better in .2x than in the current .3x version.

The "Buddy" think the target player is the admin. Maybe, since the server went down shortly after my raid this morning.

Title: Luck comes to the one with Patience
Feb 19, 2007 - 6:38 am

another play in the main for me has ended, due to my lack of patience. This time it lasted for about 2 weeks before I saw a selfdestruct as the only option. I just hate when my progress in the game is slowig down.
In the short time I was in there I did manage to shake the glaxy a bit.
If it is "Shaken but not  stirred" is up to the reader, but some did get a taste of my skills playing as the rooster-trainer Chicken George. Name choosed since I liked the TV-serie "Roots". Basicly the game worked perfectly, but there is still some stuff there needs a minor adjustment.

To some of the players in the game I would say (in my undiplomatic tone):

Unowned: Grow up, you are a joke... and not slicely funny.
Valience: Giving you my credits just b4 my SD wouldn't be fair and begging isn't a playingstyle I think greatly about. STOP that.
WA and hubby: good building job. Isn't that nice with good allies.
PP (zbop) and family: Great spirit and not less important patience.
